Current gear:
- Digital: Canon 5D (50mm f/1.8, 24-70mm f/2.8, 35mm f/2.8)
- Film: Leica M6 (35mm f/1.4 Summilux), Nikon F3 (50mm f/1.8, 28mm f/2.8, 35mm f/2.8)
Principles:
Please be courteous and ask for permission if you wish to use any of my images. If you are a charitable organisation or using images for non-commercial purposes (students for example), on the whole I will grant permission for you to use images for free (subject to my approval).
However, talented professional photographers are being put out of business by people who allow organisations to use images for free, so although my main source of income is unrelated to photography, out of principle and respect to those who rely on making money out of art, I cannot let such organisations use photographs for nothing. Even if it means paying a very small fee, I would expect to be offered something for commercial use of images.

Hi Tanya,
I just saw your pictures on Flickr and this site… Just wonderful photoshots but so poor how the people live in Dharavi.
Did you dare to walk around there? What did you do there, I mean, because you’re officially citizen of the UK?
We’re invited to come to Mumbai to visit friends, but am abit afraid of all these…
Once again, great pictures!
Greets from The Netherlands,
